future
coat 2000 is a 100% acrylic rubber-like, premium grade,
architectural finishing coating. Is made from the finest acrylic
resins available. Is specially formulated for use where poor climatic
conditions cause moisture problems with walls of buildings.
future coat
2000 has been designed to
last 3 to 5 times longer than most paints.
future coat
2000 is designed to
bridge hairline cracks and offers a flexible yet durable finish over
rough surfaces.
future coat
2000 can be used for a
variety of purposes where an acrylic rubber-like finish product is
needed as a protective coating to enhance washability, durability and
weather resistance.
future coat
2000 is available in
natural white, deep and accent bases.

QUALITIES
future coat
2000 is rubber-like,
non-toxic, lead and asbestos
free, weather resistant, fire retardant,
color fast, will not crack or peel and may be applied on either
interior or exterior surfaces. Dries to an extremely hard, but
flexible finish enabling it to resist most normal abuse, but it still
can "breathe." It is resistant to penetration of atmospheric salts
and acid rain. Some unique qualities of this product are its
rubber-like quality, flexibility and elasticity, which allow the
product to "give" with whatever substrate to which it is applied.
Dries quickly in warm temperatures but should not be applied or stored
below 41° F (5° C).
RECOMMENDED USES
future coat
2000 may be used on most
surfaces such as: cementitious stucco, acrylic stucco, concrete block,
concrete walls, brick and masonry products, stone, wood, California
knock down or textured stucco, etc. Will not adhere to most plastics.
COLOUR TINTING
future coat
2000 is available in
standard white and can be custom-tinted to most pastel shades.
DILUTING
If diluting future coat 2000
products with water, use consistent volumes of cold water for each
pail. Always be consistent in your mixing in order to maintain
consistent workability and colour.
FLEXIBILITY
future coat
2000 remains flexible
over a wide temperature range. The coating's excellent elongation
(300%) and recovery (100%) properties allow it to flex with the substrate
over a long period of time.
EXCEPTIONAL ADHESION
future coat 2000 has
excellent adhesion
to masonry, concrete stucco, asphalt sundecking, galvanized metal,
urethane foam. It also adheres to vinyl and aluminum siding, and
properly primed wood and metal surfaces.
WATERPROOF BREATHABLE
future coat
2000 seals out wind
driven rain and moisture rundown when applied to a properly prepared
surface. Breath ability permits moisture vapor transmission from
interior to exterior surfaces.
DIRT REJECTION
future coat
2000 low sheen water
proof sundeck finish resists airborne dust and dirt accumulation. Rain
will wash away much of the dirt and dust that occurs on normal
exterior paint films.
MILDEW RESISTANT &
NON-TOXIC
future coat
2000 contains
non-mercurial anti mildew fungicides to resist the growth of
disfiguring mold and mildew. The formula does not contain lead,
mercury, asbestos or formaldehyde.
future coat
2000 has been engineered
and designed as a coating for all types of roofing, but may also be
used for all types of vertical surfaces where very long-term
protection and esthetics are prime requirements.
ROOFS
Most types of Roofing
problems may be solved by one simple solution future coat 2000 which
is based on advanced technology.

future coat
2000 is versatile, easy
to apply, cost-efficient and will greatly reduce labour costs.
Has
excellent resistance to water ponding in depressed areas on roofing
systems and where most other products fail. In addition to water
ponding resistance, the new roof coating "breathes," allowing the
water vapour trapped in the old roof to escape, but totally protecting
the roof by not allowing water to penetrate the roof. Will drastically
extend the life of any roof. The elasticity of the products is
important, particularly where low temperatures are predominant. Dark
colours attract ultra-violet radiation and roof degradation is much
sooner than our white colour. The surface temperature of the
roof is reduced, thereby prolonging roof life and reducing interior
temperatures.
future coat
2000 can withstand a
180° flexibility bend at -15° F (-26° C) without cracking. Since
there is no plasticizer to migrate from the system, this flexibility
is retained over a long period of time. Long term resistance to
cracking can extend the life of the roof.
future coat
2000 Has excellent resistance to
dirt pick-up and retention. Without dirt pick-up resistance, the roof
coating would quickly darken with age. Because dark materials tend to
absorb heat, dirt pick-up can significantly increase roof surface
temperatures which, in turn, increases interior temperatures and
energy costs.
Test Roofs have shown that
after five years of exposure, the surface temperature of future
coat 2000 was 35° F cooler than a conventional caulk polymer
coating and 85° F cooler than a black, uncoated Roof.
future coat
2000 is totally seamless.
Even if there is minor damage to the Roof, it is easy to repair
without the high costs of expensive materials and labour, simply brush
over damaged areas and you’re done and the “patch” is invisible.
future coat
2000 is “non-flammable”,
unlike coatings that contain solvent. Does not require Department of
Transportation regulation and therefore reduces transportation costs
and bureaucratic hassles.
future coat
2000 is non-toxic and
contains no carcinogenic ingredients. There is no danger to humans,
animals or plants.
future coat
2000 drastically reduces
colour bleed-through because it does not contain asphalt solubilizers
as do so many other products.
