  • toughliner does not require expensive spray equipment as do competitive products.  Because competitive products must be applied with heat and high pressure, the cost of equipment can be as much as $100,000.

  • toughliner does not require a down draft paint booth with special high volume removal fans, nor does it require special heating and drying equipment.  Our product does not need special zoning or fire department regulations approval, nor does it require special "Dangerous Goods" classification for shipping, therefore saving considerable costs.

  • toughliner is environmentally friendly and people friendly.  Our product is water-based like latex paint, has very little odor and most important - has zero VOC's (Volatile Organic Compounds) unlike some competitive products which require head-to-toe coverage with special clothing including full face masks with separate oxygen breathing apparatus.  Competitive products are not environmentally friendly and are extremely dangerous.

  • toughliner is not labour-intensive; requires only light sanding; does not require any primers (other than where there is bare metal) unlike long, labour/time-intensive preparation procedures necessary to competitors which is also very costly and time consuming--all saving money!

  • toughliner forms a 100% watertight bond to the primed metal and will not allow water penetration; therefore rust will no longer be a problem.  It also leaves a textured surface, giving the coating an excellent appearance that is also skid resistant.

  • toughliner acts as a noise insulator and sounds guards your truck bed from road noise.

  • toughliner improves the overall appearance and extends the life of the vehicle, eliminates wear and tear, increases resale value, won't crack or warp, is impervious to gasoline and other chemicals and won't blow off or become a possible liability. In case of an accident, the Motala coating can easily and quickly be repaired.

Mildew resistant and non toxic - toughliner Truck Bed Coating contains non-mercurial anti mildew fungicides to resist the growth of disfiguring mold and mildew. toughliner is not formulated with lead, mercury, asbestos, formaldehyde or isocyanides.

Flexibility - toughliner Truck Bed Coating remains flexible over a broad temperature range. The coating's excellent elongation (300%) and recovery(96%) properties allow toughliner to move with the truck bed over the long term.

Dirt rejection - toughliner's gloss, waterproof finish resists airborne dust and dirt accumulation. Rain will wash away much of the dirt and dust that occurs on the surface.

  • Colour: Black and our clear are the most popular colours.  This enables dealers and distributors to stock smaller inventories. The clear will permit the true colour that your customer is trying to accomplish to show.

  • Finish: Semi-gloss

  • Vehicle type: Epoxy and Propriety

  • Pigment type: Titanium Dioxide and selected Inserts

  • Solvent type: Water

  • Average drying time: 2 hours

  • Packaging: Black 18.9-liter pails / 4 US Gals- packaged and mixed as one gallon (part) activator and 3 gallons (parts) product.

  • Resistant to:  gasoline, motor oil, power steering fluid etc., most chemicals, dishwashing detergents and battery acid.
