not very labour intensive. The average installation time (start to
finish), for a 20 linear foot kitchen countertop, is approximately two
hours. Compare this to the time-consuming and expensive procedure of
replacing the old countertop with new Arborite or other laminates.
There
are a number of standard colour patterns. Custom patterns can also be
accomplished. There is no dust and no mess and the procedure takes only
a fraction of the "downtime" for the end user, compared to replacing
the Arborite or other laminates, or even rebuilding the entire countertop.
There is no need to replace existing
Arborite, other
laminates or complete countertops.

applied over the existing Arborite or other laminates. There is no need
to disconnect plumbing or to take out built-in sinks, cutting boards,
trash compactors, water filtration systems, etc.

not only going to be the most popular system in countertops today, but also the
most inexpensive. Corian countertops are beautiful but can still crack,
chip and become dull. It will also show scratches and other
imperfections. Most
important is the price--it can be upwards of $200 per linear foot.

easily repaired. In the event that the countertop gets damaged; i.e. hot
pot burns, etc. the repair procedure is very much like "invisible
mending." This is particularly important in the case of commercial
applications such as restaurants or bars.
NOTE: Arborite or other
laminates are not repairable. Costly replacement with a totally new
countertop is required.

not available to the "Do-It-Yourselfer." Only factory trained
professionals are used for quick and efficient installation. Factory
approved dealers will be available for free in-home sample showings and
free estimates, with absolutely no obligation to the
homeowner/proprietor to purchase retail.
