WALL DIVING

Wall Dives:

There are many great wall dives far to many to mention them all so here are a couple of our favourites.

drift diving

Drift Diving:

There is nothing quite like a drift dive. The currents provide an ideal habitat for all species of marine life. The following dives are done at slack and buoyancy control is a must as the current will definitely be moving at the conclusion of your dive.  Here are a couple of our favourites, but there are countless others, just call and ask us!

DODD NARROWS
local dive:

Dodd Narrows southeast of Nanaimo is rated #2 dive in British Columbia. This narrow channel can experience currents of 8 to 9 Knots. This is a slack water dive with depths to 90'. This is a great photo opportunity; we have sighted Orcas in Northumberland Channel on our return from this dive.

Gabriola passage is a Marine Life Sanctuary. Average depth is 90' currents can reach 7 knots in this fairly wide channel. Gabriola Passage has incredible marine life including giant octopus, urchins fock fish and cod this is also a slack water dive.

custom dive excursions

Custom Dive Excursions:

Jacques Cousteau Proclaimed that the spectacular coastal waters of Vancouver Island and Nanaimo "are the best temperate water diving in the world second only to the red sea."

Dive here and you will agree.

Every diver has his or her own preference in dives and diving.  At Divers choice we specialize in custom charters so you can have the dive you are looking for.  We provide the best dives for the divers not the best dive for the boat.

Ken Adrian, who is not only your Captain, but also an avid diver says that after all the work of getting to the dive and getting all your equipment on, there is no point point in doing a mediocre dive.

Ken has experienced most of the dives first-hand and knows the best places to explore.

We invite you to call and talk to us.  We love to talk diving and together we can plan your perfect dive trip without emptying your pockets!
