Welcome!

Mountain Aire's 100-site campground is a year-round random placement campground. It is located in the heart of a spectacular recreational area nestled in the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains of Alberta, Canada. The area is ATV-friendly, perfect for the adult adventure outdoor enthusiast. Bordered by the pristine Red Deer River, we offer comfortable and cosy rooms in our motel, and secluded campsites for tents and RVs in five main Provincial Recreation Areas, including the Cartier Creek, Deer Creek Flats, Red Deer River South, Red Deer River North, and Wild Horse Creek.

Mountain Aire offers incredible opportunities for outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain biking, fishing, ATVing, hunting, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, and kayaking. It's also a great place for bird watching and wildlife viewing, so remember to bring your camera!

Mountain-Aire is a convenient location for day trips - less than 2 hours from Calgary.

See the sights, then retreat to the peace and solitude of your campfire at the end of the day. Cook something enticing over your campfire or enjoy superb homecooked meals at the lodge. Then gaze at the stars - so brilliant that you feel like reaching out and touching them. Wake up in the morning to the sound of birds and the sight of towering mountains gleaming in the sun.

The area is open year-round, and we encourage winter camping - a terrific time to take photos of the beautiful Northern Lights. For something a little different, come spend Christmas or New Year's at Mountain-Aire.

There is so much to do! Make sure you check out our Things to Do page for details on hunting and fishing, adventure racing, horseback riding, and more. While you're in the area, make sure you take in some of the beautiful sights in the area, like the Big Horn Falls, Ya Ha Tinda Ranch, and the Panther Valley.

Leave the hustle and bustle of the city and come relax at Mountain-Aire Lodge. You'll be glad you did!
