Welcome
Enjoy life. You can't get out alive.

Where I came from.

My name is Eric. I was born October 18, 1952 at Killarney, Manitoba, Canada.

My folks lived on a farm about 20 miles north of the U.S. border.

My mother being a woman rather liked me. It was against the law for father to drown me, so I made it through my formative years.

Up Close and Personal.

Didn't mean to scare you. I am trying to give you an honest profile. I would probably look better with my mouth closed, but I seem to be grinning most of the time.

One of my favourite new tricks is to copy the voices of my friends on their answering services. I repeat the message back exactly as they say it. If I get the tones correct and the exact words they think their answering service has gone completely haywire. It's great fun.

What do I expect from my friends.

Honesty

You should know and understand yourself. If you are not honest with yourself how can you have a relationship with anyone else?

Intelligence

I like people who are bright. If I can't learn something from you I would not find you interesting. I am not threatened by intelligent ladies.

What do I want from life

Take some enjoyment out of every day. Humour is good. If you can't laugh life must be quite dull. Literally, smell the flowers. I try to look at life in what I can give rather than what I can receive.

My Family

I have 3 daughters who are a great joy to me. They are Inga (20) Andrea (18) and Tara (9)
Inga was living with me, but now lives in Vancouver. Andrea lives with me. Tara still lives with her mother here in Victoria.

I really enjoy spending time with my children. Andrea and I get along especially well and we spend quality time together on a regular basis, as she lives with me.

Character.

I try to laugh with, not at people. (Kelvin and Hobbs is my favourite cartoon)

I am not a prude, naughty is okay in fact I like naughty.

I am not into alcohol, smoking, swearing, gambling or drugs.

I am loyal to my friends.
I never cheated in a relationship.

I believe in a higher power. I feel my purpose here in this world should be to strengthen my relationship with that higher power. I look at the life of Mother Teresa with great awe. I respect other peoples beliefs. I attend a United Church on a regular basis. I don't think they have all the answers, but this is not a bad place to start looking.

This is where I like to walk. The Inner Harbour, Victoria, BC.

Calvin and Hobbs was always my favourite cartoon, link here.
