Dubuc is the next point
west of Esterhazy, indicated by the red star. Estimated
population of 100 people. Close to Round and
Crooked Lakes, Ochapowace Ski Resort and the East Oak golf
course and Country Club. There are good doctors and a
dentist in the neighbouring towns of Esterhazy, Melville and
Yorkton. RCMP detachment in Esterhazy. Children
attend school in Stockholm (8 miles east) up to 9th grade,
and in Esterhazy to 12th grade. Other businesses and
recreation facilities are the Yorkton Credit Union, Dubuc Branch
of the Yorkton CoOp Service Centre, which also houses the postal
outlet, village office, seniors centre, plumber, welder and
community hall. Recreation Association Club and
groomed sno-mobile trails are also nearby. .A farming and hunting
region. Dubuc is a friendly community minded area.
