Walleye
are a sought after catch, prized for both flavour and
quality. Mirond Lake remains a good walleye lake, and is
protected by the Environment and Resource Management. Together, with
the Outfitters and the Commercial fisherman, the hope is that it
will remain so for future generations.

We
have two day-use lakes, Cornelle Lake and Parenteau Lake, that are
otherwise accessible by flight. A great spot to catch Lake
Trout and Northern Pike.
Because they are close to
Mirond they can be reached by portage, and guests will save the cost
of the flight. Flights
can be arranged for those who want to fly in for a day of fishing.

Cornelle
Lake has the same species as Mirond Lake, Walleye , Northern Pike,
and Yellow Perch. Cornelle Lake also has two sets of rapids and is
a very scenic northern lake.

A
fleet of boats and motors are available to guest on a per-day
rental basis.
Power
is available at the docks for those needing to charge
batteries etc.
Canoes
are also available for rent.

All
rental boats are 16 ft. Lund fishing boats with 30 H.P. motors,
and tiller drive.
There
are 17 boats on
Mirond lake , 1 on Parenteau Lake and 2 on Cornelle Lake.
Guests
are welcome to bring their own boat.

We
have a very large area for our Hunting Outfitting. We have Guided
hunts for
both Black Bear and Moose hunting. We have an unlimited
amount of Black Bear tags.
Much
of the hunting area is virgin hunting area. This aspect of our
business is growing very quickly with bookings
more
than a year ahead.
