ABOUT THE COMMUNITY: Mirond Lake is 23 Km off highway 106, ( which is the Hanson Lake Road), on highway 135. We are about an hours drive north west of Flin Flon Manitoba. We are situated at the south end of Mirond Lake on a secluded bay. Mirond Lake is a long and narrow lake . It is about 33 km long and about 5 km wide at the widest point. It is over 280 feet deep with many and varied bays. It also has two sets of rapids, and is a very scenic lake with a sprinkling of islands amid clean, clear and cold water. |
