over a decade.  At Northwestern, we strive to bring you to a clean, neat place to stay and relax
with your family.  We are located on highway 17E, right across from Auto Parts and the Comfort Inn.  We are also close to restaurants, a gas bar, propane service, A&W and McDonalds and many more.

At Northwestern we offer a family oriented atmosphere and have available picnic tables, a play area for children, horseshoe pit, badminton, basketball, and a designated pet area.  During your stay at Northwestern explore the town of Dryden and see some of the wonderful things that Northern Ontario has to offer.

Located on the Trans-Canada highway in the heart of Sunset Country and surrounded by forests and lakes, Dryden is a regional centre offering an excellent choice of retail, dining, and attractions.  Dryden offers everything from fishing, hunting, camping, golfing and sailing to sheep farm and paper mill tours.

Northern Ontario is known for its wildlife, especially moose, and Dryden is no exception.  The town mascot, Maximillian Moose is an affectionate tribute to the largest member of the deer family and is a sight to behold.  Visit Max, a six metre (18') statue on Highway 17 next to the Tourist Information Centre.

Dryden is a fast growing city and attracts more and more tourists with each passing year.  The Northwestern Tent & Trailer Park is located right on the TransCanada Highway 17E.  With construction coming into town every year (paper mill, highway and more), the campground is always busy with construction crews staying here for several months or the entire season!  There are a lot of customers from the United States as well as from Europe and of course all across Canada.  There is also a lot of repeat clientele.  We are very proud of the property and what we have accomplished since we purchased the campground in  September of 1994.  It is very clean and is very well maintained.  We have put our heart and soul into this business, and it shows!
