Not huge
amounts to report. Have spoken on the phone several times
now. Mike has passed his medical / physical, and he passed his
driving test (did we ever have any doubts!) Apart from sounding a
wee bit homesick, he is very enthusiastic about everything. I
guess today has been a lot of 'instruction'. He said he hasn't had
to learn so much since he was in high school. He is extremely
impressed with their stress of safety. I think a lot of his fears
are being alleviated every time they go over a new piece of
information. He will likely be hauling fuel, so he is getting his
dangerous goods and getting special training in that. I'll keep

Fetching the parking
tickets. Got 2 tickets, guess we needed 4. When Rick and I got
back to the truck, the tow truck guy was looking at the car. He was
nice though. No parking fine. yay! |

Talked to Mikey on the phone tonight, he already sounds homesick. Will
update you tomorrow eve when I talk to him to find out how day one of work
went.
