In 1986, Umberto Bizzarri brought his family's recipes for blending and roasting coffees from Perugia, Italy.  In the historic Pioneer Square district of Seattle he opened his first "torrefazione".  In this beautiful café, Umberto blended, roasted and served his classic coffees to a growing number of coffee aficionados.  Italian-style coffee is known throughout the world for being full-bodied, highly aromatic and intensely flavourful.  It should linger pleasantly on the palate, and is never bitter.  At Torrefazione Italia, coffee is our heritage and therefore it is very important to us that  you and your guests savour the quintessential experience which we call The Warmth of Italy.
