New Earth Minerals

Graphene made from graphite and the path ahead for the miners. How does Matt Bohlsen see the path ahead and what opportunities does he see for graphite miners large and small?

Are graphene and graphite and other mineral by products going to have the huge growth some are projecting regarding batteries for industry and electric cars.

New Earth Minerals

How much graphite is there currently used in a lithium-ion battery as lithium.

What is China's position as a producer in the carbon graphite market.

The demand for capacitors and supercapacitors is going up and up for battery technology and power for devices, electric cars, vehicles and all modes of transporting goods and people around the world. We rely on lithium-ion batteries even if most of us have no idea how a lithium ion battery works

We have to get back to the common sense of all this chatter. Next year is (2020) and investors are looking for investment opportunities.

My friend and associate Matt Bohlsen is one of the world experts on electric cars, lithium, cobalt and other miners who produce the "power source" for the batteries to run all of this. I have to admire Matt.
He goes to the work of figuring out how many cars will be produced and sold. (demand and production)

Then Matt Bohlsen makes some judgments about what minerals the miners are going to produce, and what miners will bring the raw materials to market. Who has the ability to supply, and under what time frame.

Matt Bohlsen studies the miners from a "reverse thinking model" and decides what investments he wants to make for himself. You can have Matt Bohlsen's most recent revelations on his paid subscription service at Seeking Alpha "monthly" or for free see his older articles on Seeking Alpha.

If you were going to invest serious money in the graphene, graphite or other minerals involved in the lithium battery production, a peek into Matt Bohlsen's brain is indeed an advantage and a privilege.

Me, I am Eric Jordan (CPPA) a Canadian Business Valuator with a specialty in intangible assets. I have been down on the ground dealing with small business for the past 35 years. I use my unique and proprietary system of "25 Factors Affecting Business Valuation" to find my values and although my system was developed for small business there is some overlap with larger mining companies.

Sometimes Matt shows me where hard assets and replacement cost of the miners are at crazy levels. The assets are sometimes double or triple or more of a current market price level. I go back to my 25 Factors Affecting Business Valuation and recognize the issue right away "liquidity" If the company does not have access to the capital to take advantage of "or mine" the assets it holds, then those assets become worth a lot less, until that situation somehow resolves itself.

What does this mean?

What it can and will mean for some investors is that they will look to someone like Matt Bohlsen to predict or estimate the price of a commodity or mineral and then gauge what it should sell for (and when), because Matt Bohlsen would have estimated/measured what the demand would be. This is not insider information but "insider thinking"

The logic from my business valuation background would suggest that when you can use Matt Bohlsen to predict by logical calculation cost, sale and profit, you can take additional advantage of current underpriced miners Matt has discovered. As soon as a major investor takes the liquidity question or capital requirements to complete a project "OFF THE TABLE". Then the marketplace can see there is no reason not to believe in the company, and the share price goes away up. The big investor WINS BIG TIME for taking away the risk, and the smaller stock investors who jumped on the stock early are all winners.

Watch what Matt Bohlsen is doing and put "insider thinking" to work for you.

Energy storage is key for ev electric vehicles and cars

Graphene has many uses and more are found every day. Graphene is the strongest mineral in the world, stronger than diamonds, and transfers electricity more than 100 times faster than lithium while being almost 100 times lighter than aluminium. Imagine the efficiency this adds to a Li-ion battery. Ivan Buckley project manager of the National Graphene Institute is quoted as saying "A gram of single layer graphene covers the equivalent of two football fields" Samsung seems aware of this in announcements we know about.

Graphene is said to be on the cutting edge of water filtration and unbreakable phone screens. This makes graphene stocks almost sure to rise in the industrial minerals lineup, on the strength of electric vehicle sales and battery production.
