This is that place called Genoa Bay we were telling you about. It is up island, just south of Chemainus, which is where the train is.

This is the view off our balcony!

It was taken when we first moved in here. It's not quite as "lush" anymore, that really cold winter a couple years back hurt the oak trees pretty badly.
Our balcony again, this one is looking in the other direction. Those really tall skinny trees are the ones that the herons nest in.

See the fence? When we got all that snow, the snow was almost up to the gap near the top of it.
