Foam Lake is located approx. 100km west of Yorkton on Highway 16.  The population of Foam Lake is 1,200 persons, with a rural municipality population of 950.  Some of the community events include the Veselka which a a Ukrainian Festival held in April, and a Wagon Trek held  every July.  Foam Lake is a full-service community which is located near Fishing Lake Provincial Park.
