ABOUT GOING INTO A BUSINESS VENTURE?

The interview was obtained from Mr. Reynolds in Pasadena, California. Mr. Reynolds is former President of the American Bankers Association and was a powerful figure on the Federal Reserve Board and headed one of the largest banks in the United States.

 

·                     Pasadena, California, March 23: "Making money isn't any different from doing anything else," declared Mr. Reynolds. "I can't give you a standard recipe, there are no set rules. At bottom, it's alertness that counts. Alertness and fortuity are the keys. And what do they consist of? I will tell you. They consist solely and simply of knowledge of human nature. Nobody can make a fortune by saving money from his salary or wages".
