Movie Distribution Business
I have 5,000 movies. I have accounts spread out all over Saskatchewan in small convenience type stores. I rent to the store at a rate of $1.00 per movie per month. Less than half of these movies are currently rented the rest are just sitting. As you can see this business has lots of potential to make money for the right person. I believe that person should live in Saskatchewan not Victoria as I do. For me it makes for far too much travel.
I am going to be leaving this business sometime between now and the fall of 1998. If someone were to offer me $10,000 right now I probably would not take it. If it were August 15, I would probably accept $10,000 if that was the highest offer I could get, as I am not going to be traveling through snow in Saskatchewan any more.
At this time I would probably accept an offer closer to $20,000 for the movies and the accounts.
