There are 11 signs located strategically along the highways and entrances leading to Sunset Bay Resort Emma Lake, and on some of the buildings.

This seasonal Confectionary features 24 flavours of hard ice cream and two flavours of soft ice cream, slush, popcorn, candy, ice, refreshments, snacks, fireworks, fishing, oil supplies and more.

There are two retail rental spaces available at the Marina. One inside the marina building and one along side in a separate building. Both are an added asset to Sunset Bay Resort. Retail rental space at marina

This dock was completely reconstructed in 2007.  There are 15 boat slips available to rent by the season.  The dock is along the public swimming area and beach. This is a great dock for the kids to fish from.

The only refueling facility on Emma Lake where water crafts are refueled on the water.  Double transfer pumps, with breakaway connections. Able to refuel multiple water crafts at one time.

There are an additional 19 boat slips available for rent by the season on the fixed steel docking system.  

The floating dock system was added in 2010 for an additional 20 boat slips. Sunset Bay Marina has a total of 54 slips available for rent on a seasonal basis.

3 Aqua Bikes, 4 Kayaks, Windrider and a Canoe. There is no other watercraft rental facility on Emma Lake.  A great location for expansion of services.

The Sunny, Sandy Suntan Sunset Family Beach is located on the south shore of Emma Lake. Sunset Bay's public beach and picnic area has the only modern washroom facility in the RM of Lakeland. public beach

Float planes that come in to use the facilities at Sunset Bay Resort. Refueling, overnight tie down, family oriented, call ahead for assistance.

Sunset Bay Resort has 22 permanent/seasonal leased, fully serviced trailer sites with 30 amp electrical, sewage and health department approved, softened, iron-filtered, micro ionized, charcoal filtered, chlorinated well water.

There are 4 Lindal Cedar cabins. 2 one bedroom and 2 two bedroom cabins.  The cabins are modern, year-round facilities with a/c, forced air heat, water heater, treated water, septic, propane BBQ and picnic table with market umbrella. All cabins are smoke and pet free.

The one bedroom cabins will accommodate up to four people.

All cabins are fully furnished. Hardwood and ceramic flooring throughout.  Satellite TV, queen size futon, rocking chair, coffee and end tables in the living room. one bedroom cabin living room

Linens are also supplied in each of the cabins. Double bed with pillow-top mattress, dresser, night table and amenities.

The 2 bedroom cabins will accommodate up to eight people. The cabins are modern year round facilities with forced air heat, a/c, water heater, treated water, septic, satellite TV, propane BBQ, picnic table with market umbrella.  All cabins are smoke and pet free.

Motel in Summer

Year round 4 unit motel with forced air natural gas heat in crawl space under motel, individual electric heat in each room, window a/c for the summer, large commercial rapid recovery water heater, covered and carpeted deck with table and chairs for each motel unit. The motel is smoke and pet free.

The motel units are equipped with queen size futon, double pillow top bed, all linen, satellite TV, table and chairs, coffee and end tables, carpet flooring and ceramic flooring in the en suite. Motel interior

The motel units each have their own en suite with towels and wash cloths, bar size refrigerator, microwave oven, hair dryer, coffee pot and glassware.

Four natural gas Wascomat TD30 dryers are coin operated. This is the only public laundromat facility in the area that is open throughout the winter.

The playground is for the use of Sunset Bay Resort clients.  It is located on the west side of the motel units. For winter entertainment, the area is converted into a skating area. playground

The only two-storey licenced restaurant on Emma Lake has seating for 80 guests. It is fully equipped with walk-in cooler and freezer, Hobart slicer, Hobart band saw, 36" char-broiler, 2 deep fryers, double deck oven with 36" griddle, 24" hot plate, double burner hot plate, convection oven, stand up freezer, 2 refrigerated prep tables, pots, pans, dishes, 2 Hobart under-the-counter dishwashers and much more.

The restaurant features a glassed-in deck with a great view of Emma Lake and an open deck on the south side of the building complete with tables and chairs, umbrellas and perimeter lighting. restaraunt
